Prairie Fire Crabapple
Moderate growth to 20 ft. by 20 ft., with upright and eventually rounded shape. Crimson buds open to long lasting, single, pinkish red blossoms, followed by dark red, persistent fruit. New foliage is reddish maroon, aging to reddish green on red stems. Highly resistant to fireblight, scab, cedar apple rust and powdery mildew. Zones 4 to 8.
