Large, red skinned McIntosh type apple is juicy, crisp and aromatic. Attractive, distinctive tree with very narrow growth habit grows to about ten feet. Trees topped for size control develop upright side limbs. Excellent for container growing. Fruit ripens in late September. Zones 4 to 8. Estimated chilling requirement 500 hours.
